Are Adults Really That Different?
Knowles had some excellent points about his principles of learning, but they’re truly age-agnostic. Adults may have different problems to solve and a wider range of experiences to pull from, but good instruction is good instruction, regardless of whether it happens in a conference room or on carpet squares.

Should Companies Hire Teachers?
…I found entire communities of educators on a similar path looking for better work-life balance and a wage that reflected the effort and hours they put in. Many of these educators frequently made posts about how companies should hire teachers because we can do anything.
While I know statements like these are made with the best intentions, sweeping generalizations about how teachers are remarkable are largely irrelevant and potentially problematic.
A Pilot Is a Pilot
Over the last two years, and likely the upcoming ones as well, teachers have been transitioning into a variety of new careers. They've left the classroom and become instructional designers, corporate trainers, project managers, sales representatives, and many other positions.
But have they become those things? Two years ago, I would not have been able to describe what an instructional designer is, but I was doing it daily…
